Advanced transformer design and in-house core manufacturing at WF Energy Controls
WF Energy Controls operates a sophisticated suite of transformer design software allowing us to design a transformer even while discussing the requirements with the customer. Our manufacturing process allows us to make one or one thousand of any particular design.
For toroidal transformers we manufacture cores in-house, from high-grade grain oriented electrical steel to any required size, up to one metre diameter.
- All metering and protection transformers are fully tested to the requested standard before being dispatched.
- We maintain an ISO 17025 NATA accredited Test Laboratory and can provide endorsed Calibration Reports and Unendorsed Test Reports on request.
- We test to current AS/NZS and IEC standards. We are also able to test to earlier versions of these as well as the old British Standards.
- We are able to provide Type and Routine Testing services within our NATA Scope of Accreditation.
